I booked with Staycity and, for me, the payment process met the standard I expect when reserving a place to stay. The total price was clear before I paid, and there were no odd extra charges added later. My card payment went through smoothly, and the confirmation arrived quickly. It was simple, straightforward, and honest, which I really appreciate when booking accommodation.

Checkout was super quick and easy, which I really appreciated. We basically just handed in our key cards, the staff did a quick check, and we were good to go without any waiting around.
The only small thing was the lift was busy that morning, so getting downstairs actually took longer than checking out. Other than that, it was a smooth and easy experience

The location was really handy, honestly. It was just so easy to get around from there, and that made everything feel a lot more convenient. Really handy spot overall.

We stayed here with our two kids and it was a easy win. The room had enough space for everyone, and having the kitchen made meals way less of a hassle. When traveling with kids, I usually go by simple mental shortcuts like “is there space?” and “can we avoid eating out every meal?” This place checked both boxes. Only downside was check-in took a little longer than I’d hoped.

The room was easy for him to move around in, the lift worked without any trouble, and the bathroom grab handles were really helpful. I stayed in a Staycity apartment for 3 nights and overall it was a good experience. The kitchen had the basics covered, like a fridge, hob, kettle, and enough plates for us, which was handy. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked without any issues. The only small things were that the room felt a bit warm and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest, if that makes sense. Still, I was happy with the stay overall.

I stayed at Staycity for a few nights and the wifi ended up being one of the best parts of the stay. I had to work from my room during the day, take a few video calls, and then stream Netflix in the evening, so I really needed it to be dependable. It was fast, steady, and didn’t keep cutting out like I’ve experienced at other hotels. Because of that, the whole stay was a lot smoother for me. Easy 5 stars.

We were having one of those days where a small issue was turning into a bit of a hassle, and after trying to sort it ourselves for a while, we reached out. They were friendly, easy to deal with, and ended up helping us out straight away, which made the whole thing much less stressful.

The bathroom just felt kind of dirty, which was really disappointing. I hate wasting energy trying to relax somewhere when I’m distracted by stuff that should’ve been cleaned better

Like, the check-in details, parking info, and just what to expect were all sent over in plenty of time, which is really helpful. I had one small question too and, yeah, they got back to me quickly. So far, it’s been very good and kind of makes the whole trip feel a lot easier

Breakfast was, better than I was expecting it to be. Coffee was good, the little fresh bits were nice, and there was plenty there to pick from. The staff kept topping everything up too, which was good. Just a nice, easy start to the day it was

I assumed maybe the room would be tiny or they’d sneak in extra fees somewhere, but it was actually straightforward. Support got back to me clearly, even down to explaining what would happen next, and the refund came through quicker than I thought it would. I only had to follow up once, and even that was just me being picky and wanting to make sure it was moving. Overall, really happy with how they handled it.

The room itself was fine and the staff were genuinely nice, so I wish that was what I remembered most. But the thing that stuck with me was arriving tired after a long drive and realizing there were no parking spaces left, even though the site made it seem like parking would be straightforward.
We ended up driving around late at night, stressed and annoyed, before paying extra at some random car park. It’s one of those little travel moments that stays with you for all the wrong reasons. If we’re coming by car again, I’d definitely think twice before booking.
